“In 2020, almost 4,000 tons of batteries and accumulators were collected. That’s more than the year before. Last year, more batteries and accumulators were put on the market and some were handed in after they were scrapped. In 2020, the European Batteries Directive, which requires that at least 45% of batteries that were put on the market in the last three years, will be collected again.”
